June 2023 Update
Pitstop’s new feature, “Share Health Reports with your Vendor,” is a game-changer for fleet managers. We understand that managing a fleet is a complex and demanding job, and involves many parties from drivers to maintenance to help the fleet run smoothly… Which is why we’ve designed this feature to make their lives easier.
At Pitstop, we believe in innovation through iteration and the only way to iterate quickly is through feedback! The insights we gathered from fleet professionals were eye-opening. For example, we found that fleet managers didn’t have an easy way to send vehicle health and diagnostic reports with their vendors, technicians, and team members. This information is critical when deciding whether a driver can continue to operate the vehicle or if a shop visit is necessary.
Before introducing the “Share” button, fleet managers had to send drivers to the shop for further diagnosis, resulting in downtime and lost productivity. This was time-consuming and frustrating for the drivers who had to take their vehicles to the shop multiple times. So we knew we had to streamline the process to free up valuable time.
Now, with Pitstop’s new feature, fleet managers can upload their contacts and share vehicle health and diagnostic reports in real time. This has saved fleet managers an average of 3 hours of downtime/event, translating into significant cost savings and increased productivity.
The diagnostic reports contain detailed information, such as the history of fault codes, the number of times the fault was triggered, affected components, and the priority of alerts. With this information, technicians can guide fleet managers on what actions to take, allowing them to make informed decisions quickly.
In conclusion, Pitstop’s new “Share Health Reports with your Vendor” feature is a powerful tool that has been designed to save time, increase efficiency, and streamline communication for fleet managers. We are proud to offer this feature to our customers and will continue to innovate and improve our platform to meet their needs. With Pitstop, managing & simplifying maintenance using telematics data has never been easier!
